Training Bands

Two training bands meet on a Friday evening.
There are separate groups for novices - those wishing to learn to play a brass instrument, and one for more experienced players who can play ensemble and easier group music.

The training bands are open to anyone of any age and all ages mix together to enjoy making music.

Originally formed as a junior band for under 18's, in 2021 group was restructured into the two groups.

The bands have performed at local concerts and also at local music festivals, winning several awards and commendations.

Some have also played with some of the worlds highest quality bands such as Brighouse & Rastrick, Grimethorpe and Black Dyke.
